Whale Pass sits on a quiet bay in Whale Passage, a small, close-knit community on the northeast side of Prince of Wales Island. Our Songahm Academic Program gives students a distinctive academic foundation with quality TaeKwonDo Legacy CTE training alongside activities like videography and outdoor pursuits. As a Pre-K through 12 school with multi-age classrooms, we're proud to offer a place where every student is known and supported.
Principal's Message
This year, SISD is expanding what Career and Technical Education looks like across our island. Students will have new opportunities for work-based learning, gaining real experience alongside local employers and within the district itself. Our CTE trails will give students a clear path from coursework to certification to career, built around each student's own goals. And throughout the year, students will have access to hands-on intensives, both here on Prince of Wales Island and beyond, connecting classroom learning to real industry experience.
