District-wide Parent Event – October 15 in Thorne Bay
Lois Ballard-Stephenson from 49th Star Consulting will be providing a parent/child
reading event at Thorne Bay School on Saturday, October 15th. from 1pm - 5pm.
This Parent/Child Reading Event will cover the following topics:
· Strategies to help your child love reading
· Science of Reading
· Stages of Reading
· Engaging in School
This is a district-wide event and any/all parents and staff are encouraged to attend. SISD staff can transport parents in a district vehicle – if a staff member from your school is planning to attend
