=>UPDATE from the Division of Elections: New regulations adopted by the division this year now require a declaration of candidacy to be submitted by the filing deadline and not just postmarked by the deadline. This can be done by delivering it in person, by electronic transmission (Email) or arrive by mail on the filing deadline. If sent by email, the original must follow it up in the mail.
