Parent & Family Engagement

Our district is dedicated to building strong partnerships between parents, schools, and the community to support student success. We believe that parent and family engagement is an ongoing process that fosters active participation, open communication, and meaningful collaboration. By working together, we create a supportive learning environment that nurtures the whole child, enhances academic achievement, and helps every student reach their full potential.

We encourage all families to stay engaged and involved in their child's education. Explore our Parent & Family Engagement Plans below:

Schoolwide Plans for Title 1-A Schools

All SISD schools receiving Title I-A funding operate Schoolwide Programs, as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESEA). These programs are designed to enhance student achievement and ensure that all students have equitable access to high-quality education.

A key component of these programs is the development of Schoolwide Plans, which outline strategies to:

✔️ Improve academic performance for all students
✔️ Provide comprehensive support systems
✔️ Address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
✔️ Ensure equitable learning opportunities

We encourage families and community members to review these plans and stay informed about our efforts to support student success.
